MANNO MAINTAINS RARE 100% "LIFETIME" ENVIRO RATING - AMONG TOP LEADERS IN STATE
Annapolis, MD - Delegate Roger Manno was honored this summer by the Maryland League of Conservation Voters and Environment Maryland, having received a perfect environmental score for the 2009 Legislative Session. Importantly, this is Manno's third straight year scoring 100%, making him one of only five sitting Delegates in Maryland with a perfect 100% "Lifetime" environmental rating.

ABOUT THE LIFETIME RATING: The "Lifetime" rating differs from the yearly "Score" of a legislator on environmental issues, because the lifetime rating measures the cumulative score of a legislator over his or her total term in public office. For example, a legislator who scores 100% in year one of public office, may introduce devastating environmental legislation in year two, then score 100% in year three, giving him or her an overall score in the 90% range, which is deceptive. Those with 100% Lifetime ratings demonstrate staunch environmental leadership on every vote that matters.
Manno's leadership on environmental issues also goes far beyond voting correctly, because it includes tireless work behind the scenes to advance strong environmental policy at every available opportunity.
Specifically, Manno has been recognized for his strategic leadership in the passage of the landmark "2009 Global Warming Solutions Act" after assiating to bring environmental groups together with labor and manufacturing groups to draft bill language that significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
